The first day of tennis at the Internazionali BNL d’Italia 2021 will immediately provide numerous reasons for fans to tune in. The first date to write on the agenda is at 11.30am of Saturday May 8th, when both Main Draws ceremonies will be streamed live on the social media platforms of SuperTennis, Federtennis and obviously ours.
The interest will be as high as ever with 19 of the best 20 players in the world on the ATP side and all top 41 women on the WTA. The main draw matches will start already on Sunday and they will be the protagonists of the Roman week until May 16th.

But tennis fans will obviously keep an eye also on the action starting on Saturday, as two high quality qualification draws will kick off the Italian tournament.
Former US Open champion and Roland Garros runner-up Sloane Stephens is the highest seed of a packed women draw featuring a mix of experienced champions and up-and-coming new stars.

Possibly, it is the men’s qualification draw to catch the eye, with a number of players who have made a name for themselves in the past weeks: Cameron Norrie comes to Rome as the top seed after reaching the final at Estoril ATP 250, while Alejandro Davidovich Fokina is the second favourite of the list whose cut-off is just outside the best 100 players of the world.
