It feels like a stellar Thursday at this record-breaking edition of the Internazionali BNL d’Italia. After two consecutive days with the highest number ever of fans at the Foro Italico, the middle day of this 79th edition is featuring most of the hottest names of the world at the moment.
The day starts right away with the second seed and former champion Alexander Zverev, opposed to Alex De Minaur on the Campo Centrale, while Aryna Sabalenka will be tested by Madrid finalist Jessica Pegula on the Grand Stand Arena.
The day goes on with two world number ones on the Centrale opposed to two experienced players: Iga Swiatek is facing Victoria Azarenka, while Novak Djokovic finds Stan Wawrinka. In between, the local crowd will be chanting their hearts out for the last Italian in the draw, as Jannik Sinner will try to reach the quarter finals by facing Filip Krajinovic.

An hour break following Djokovic’s match will allow the turnover of fans as evening session will kick off not before 7pm with the remake of last year’s epic 3rd round between Rafael Nadal and Denis Shapovalov. Then another Spaniard will walk on the same court to close the program as Paula Badosa will face Daria Kasatkina.
The Grand Stand Arena ticket holders have also a fantastic program to follow. After the Sabalenka-Pegula match, the encounter between Karen Kachanov and Stefanos Tsitsipas promises great quality, with the Greek having survived match points against Grigor Dimitrov on the same court yesterday. Hellenic fans will stay glued to their seats, as Maria Sakkari is also scheduled to play there, looking for revenge again Coco Gauff, who had defeated her in Rome twelve months ago.
Ground tickets will allow access to Pietrangeli, where the likes of Felix Auger-Aliassime, Casper Ruud, Ons Jabeur and Danielle Collins are all playing, as well as a to Court 1, where Bianca Andreescu and Petra Martic will delight fans with their variations and sparkling tennis.
