Tommy Haas forced to retire as Grigor Dimitrov goes through to the semi-finals

This content was published 10 years ago. It may refer to a past edition of the Internazionali d’Italia.

Tommy Haas was forced to retire from his quarter-final match against Grigor Dimitrov.
The German no.1 lost the first set 6-2 on Centre court before conceding to the Bulgarian due to a shoulder injury.
Dimitrov will now face the winner of the match between Rafa Nadal and Andy Murray for a place in the final.
The Internazionali BNL d’Italia could even have a new champion if Nadal and Novak Djokovic are beaten in their quarter-finals.
Djokovic and Nadal have been the only names on the trophy since 2005, with the Serbian winning twice and the Spaniard the other seven times.
